Founder of Lá Zonelys LLC.

Zonelys is a Cuban-American artist from Miami, currently based in Brooklyn. She discovered her passion for creativity early on, exploring various mediums such as painting, polymer clay, sculpture, and digital art. It was during her time at New World School of the Arts High School that she found her love for jewelry design and embraced her entrepreneurial spirit by selling her pieces to classmates. Deeply rooted in her cultural heritage and spirituality, Zonelys blends Cuban traditions with her own interpretations of protection against mal de ojo. Each handcrafted piece becomes a sacred adornment, infused with the essence of the earth, incorporating elements like freshwater pearls, genuine gemstones, wood and carefully preserved butterfly wings, all instilled with the power to shield, heal, and connect.

The name “La Zonelys” resonates deeply within me. My mother and I share the name Zonelys, creating a thread that connects us through generations. My grandfather, whom I never had the chance to meet, opened a jewelry business named La Zonelys in honor of my mother long ago. After his passing, I felt an undeniable calling to embrace the name as I uncovered my own passion for jewelry design. This step felt intuitive, allowing me to honor his memory and our shared passion for creating jewelry.
